Dear Neighbors,

Please join the community of St. Frances Cabrini for a "Block Party", which is geared towards celebrating our diversity yet our commonalities!  A day for faith and fun to become one, for family and friends of our community and parish to enjoy our celebration called World Youth Day!

We have applied for a permit from the city to have 16th Avenue Closed between 86th and Benson for Saturday, September 25th. We apologize if this inconveniences  to any of you! We hope you will join us on this day to invite family and friends, to have all cook, dance, play on 16th Avenue in front of your houses and to also come by the church to join in our festivities as presented on the flyer!

In front of the church and in the school yard we will have games for all ages, live and dj music, along with some inflatable rides for all to enjoy. Everything is free of charge and open to all! At 5PM we hope to have a mass outside and invite you to join us! If the weather is inclement, we still plan to have some of the activities inside the cafeteria!

Please join us for all or part of the celebrations that will start at 11AM, and conclude with the mass at 5PM. The block will remain closed into the evening for clean up and for all to enjoy. If we could all make an effort to remove cars from the street by 9AM that morning, especially on the block by the church and school yard that would be greatly appreciated?

If you have any questions, concerns, or have ideas on how we can celebrate this day even better, please call Kenny or speak to Fr. Guy in the rectory! If you would like to help us with set up, clean up, or to run some games, volunteers are needed and welcome. Please pray for great weather and let us celebrate our families, the youth of our community, our heritage and our one Father in God Almighty.

Thanks and appreciation!
