Are you ready to join 25,000 close  new Catholic friends and celebrate our faith?
What is NCYC?
Occuring every two years , NCYC is a gathering of over 23,000 teens from across the country to praise God and celebrate their Catolic faith for 3days. Many US bishops are actively involved.
 
Who is it for?
Teens in grades 9-12. Chaperones must be 21+. The 2009 NCYC will offer a special workshop track designed to support, form, and inform parents in their primary role of formator of faith for their children and teens.
 
Where is NCYC?
Locations vary. This year it will be in Kansas City. The Sprint Center, Municpal Auditorium and the entire Convention Center will be used for workshops, prayer, general sessions & thematic park. Go to http://ncyc.nfcym.org
 
How much does it cost?
The cost is $355.00 per person. This includes all registration fees, 3 night hotel stay(breakfast included), conference materials, commemorative t-shirt & tradeables. This does not include transportation. We have been able to secure a limited number of seats for an airfare of $355.00 pp RT for a total package of $710.00 per person.
 
How do I register?
All groups or individuals must register through their parish youth minister or designated group leader. They must request the proper forms fromt the Diocesan Office of Faith Formation.
 
If you are seriously interested in attending the NCYC, which is being held on November 19-23, 2009, in Kansas City, Kansas, you need to get in a deposit of $100 to the Youth Ministry Office by the end of this month.
We have limited spaces and the Diocese may close out and close us out, since only 100 are being able to travel with the diocese.
The entire cost for the trip including transportation to and from, hotel accomodations, meal plans and registration to the program will cost between $600 and $700. we will offer some partial scholarships and also do some communal fundraising ideas to help offset.
